The vision and goal behind the CDC is to empower each woman to have an independent, sustainable, healthy life.  We are a non-residential program, which means we are open for classes, therapy and other group activities during the day, but our women live independently. We provide a holistic approach to health and well being, focusing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health of each individual.

The Community Development Center (CDC) program is an individualized, non-traditional approach for women exiting a life of forced prostitution in India’s red light districts. The Center exists to provide viable opportunity for women to receive vocational training alongside of holistic healing and transitional support. The CDC is a 5-phase program, ranging from initial intakes and assessments with each woman all the way through job shadowing and training to job placement and ongoing transitional support.
